Clarification: This color choosing aspect was something i wanted to do later (M8.x), but there popped up a practical reason that catalyzed the need to implement it now.
and not just TS and similar features.
Just to avoid confusion: The time stretching was not a personal choice, it was one of the most requested FRs.
We have Copy colors and we have Copy size. I'd love to have Copy colors and size. It would save me a lot of elbow and shoulder ache!
What about using shortcuts for these functions?
it'd be great to have double-click to go back to the default setting.
Do you know [Alt]+click does that?

About new FRs: Sorry but i'm currently unable to talk about new FRs.
First thing to do is to release M8.0.

Currently not but it's already on the wishlist.

Thank you Jo, for all your work :tu;
Sorry for bombarding you with new ideas so soon, it's difficult being patient when you're a customer

Ok thanks

Ugliness, however, goes right the way through

I do understand and appreciate your interest :tu:
Thanks!

Thanks Jo for taking the time to reply to my wish list. I only brought it up since you were discussing colours already.

Since you asked: I would personally prefer the contextual menu over a shortcut. Note that this menu would only be for us MUX devs so if it is a bit long, it may not be the end of the world.

TS is great by the way, much more interesting than I expected it to be.

Alt-click for default values? Had completely forgotten that one! :)

Two weeks after M8.0 release might be a better time to chat about that MUX front panel aspect. Feel free to repost / relink to your post then. Thx.

jamiethelin wrote: Tue Apr 09, 2019 2:19 pm On a completely unrelated note, ever since since M7.4.6 when you introduced the modular connections snapping to the nearest available connection, this functionality has been absent from the MuDrum pads and racks.

A tiny issue I know, but is this on your radar? Would be good for consistency.
Yes i'm aware of that.
I agree it would be better if the MuDrum pads would use the same snapping method.
Thx.

I try time stretch a stereo lead guitar sound. it seem the stretch does not process the L and right channel same, because due to phase diffrence in the stretch some notes sound more away and not in the middle when stretch is enable

I think when there is option to do stretch same way for left and right then sound much better with stereo. but your algorithm sound really good for drums.

M8.0.62 is available in http://www.mutools.com/mulab/m8/

What's changed:
  • When automating an audio filter, there could be sonic artifacts, caused by a recent new bug. Fixed.
  • Color palettes can be reset to the default color palette, and can be opened and saved into XML files.
You can also drop such XML file on a specific palette component, that will load the XML from that color component on. For example: If you drop a XML with 32 colors on palette color 16, then the first 16 colors in the XML will be loaded into that palette colors 16 to 32.
Feel free to edit those XML files. For example you could create some sub-palettes with only eg. 8 colors and drop them as you prefer.
  • When using a MultiMode Filter, now the default module name shows the filter type.
How to update:
Windows: Replace the current MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID by the new versions.
MacOS: Replace the current MuLab.app by the new version.

Thanks for the update :tu:

Move your microphones a tiny bit to fix phase issues when stereo recording a guitar:
