Im totally down with adding features to existing U-He synths that the Evolver had.
Particularly a little mod matrix and the 4x16 step sequencer to control any parameter in Repro 1 and 5. Sort of like modernizing both synths to how Dave Smith has his synths set up today. I would like to see a revised 4x16 step sequencer/mod matrix page added to Repro 5, and just a revise to the Repro 1 sequencer section to add a mod matrix, and change the sequencer instead of a 2 part 32 step sequencer, split them into 4 x 16 steps, and let them control parameters like the filter, and osc sections.

You can use (Kirnu Cream + Cableguys MidiShaper + [any U-he synth]) combo for any Arp/Seq/Mod duties.vertibration wrote: Wed Apr 10, 2019 4:22 pm Particularly a little mod matrix and the 4x16 step sequencer to control any parameter in Repro 1 and 5. I would personally rather not. I prefer all in one, comprehensive UI designs that integrate sequencers in the synth. Looking forward to Hive 2 as I think its going to have a more robust mod matrix.

The Hive 2 Mod Matrix is the same... Hive 2 does have some new modulators though!vertibration wrote: Wed Apr 10, 2019 7:04 pm I would personally rather not. I'm not sure what's worse - attributing slang to wrong regions, or overblowing the mistake. I think you can call it quits, I'll close reports.whyterabbyt wrote: Wed Apr 10, 2019 3:09 pmSo you're a racist as well. Good to know.Elektronisch wrote: Wed Apr 10, 2019 2:44 pmI have no idea what you are saying but im sure its because you either from Scottland or Ireland.whyterabbyt wrote: Wed Apr 10, 2019 12:54 pmwhat utter cock; the usual 'noone with a preference different from mine has it legitimately' shite.Elektronisch wrote: Wed Apr 10, 2019 11:45 am Not really, Evolver just doesnt have outstanding sound. Its just nostalgia playing tricks here.

I had no idea that Scots and Irishmen are members of a "race". So, yeah, dunno what's worse, attributing slang to wrong regions, overblowing the mistake, or the total misuse of the racism term.

I think Picts and Gaels were the native people of that region. So I guess those would be the native race of Ireland and Scotland. Regardless, I was hoping Urs would comment on the subject of this thread and not the obvious misuse of the term racism lol

You may want to properly learn what the terms 'race' and 'racism' mean.chk071 wrote: Wed Apr 10, 2019 8:36 pm I had no idea that Scots and Irishmen are members of a "race".
Or you could Google 'anti-irish racism' some time. I grew up with it, its not exactly hard to identify.A race is a grouping of humans based on shared physical or social qualities into categories generally viewed as distinct by society.First used to refer to speakers of a common language and then to denote national affiliations, by the 17th century the term race began to refer to physical (phenotypical) traits. Modern scholarship regards race as a social construct, an identity which is assigned based on rules made by society. While partially based on physical similarities within groups, race is not an inherent physical or biological quality.
Implying someone of a particular nationality or ethnic origin can't be understood in their first language because of their nationality or ethnic origin means you're racist. As you almost certainly know; after all you've got more of a history of racist comments here than just about anyone.AnX wrote:saying you dont understand someone means you're racist?
An idiot on Set Theory:

Why oh why did i know that an ol' internet warrior like you of course immediately copy pastes from Wikipedia to prove something right. It isn't right though. No matter where you gather your "knowledge".whyterabbyt wrote: Wed Apr 10, 2019 9:25 pmYou may want to properly learn what the terms 'race' and 'racism' mean.chk071 wrote: Wed Apr 10, 2019 8:36 pm I had no idea that Scots and Irishmen are members of a "race".

ah, of course; as always your evidence-free opinion takes precedence over anything that's backed up with references.chk071 wrote: Wed Apr 10, 2019 9:35 pm Why oh why did i know that an ol' internet warrior like you of course immediately copy pastes from Wikipedia to prove something right. lets try the Oxford English Dictionary then:
race
1.2 A group of people sharing the same culture, history, language, etc.; an ethnic group.
‘we Scots were a bloodthirsty race then’
Or the Cambridge Dictionary.
Oh wait, they wont be right either, will they? Because repeating 'knowledge' from two of the pivotal references on the English language doesn't count when its inconvenient for chk071.race noun (PEOPLE)
[ C, + sing/pl verb ] a group of people who share the same language, history, characteristics, etc.:
The British are an island race.

It's still no racism though. Not even remotely. Actually, i'm even surprised you need to resort to such a victim role. Didn't think of you as a victim at all.
And, yes, lock this POS thread, please.
