Did you report this to IK Support? Did they verify and report back that it would be fixed in 4.0.4?

Yes. It's ticket #237598. This ticket was also about ST4 crashing in Studio One. The crashing is still occurring in 4.0.4.

i can confirm a crash with any ST3 Steel Drums-related patches. i can reliably reproduce it, so i'll record a video and send it to support.

Thanks, I'm sure they also were able to recreate it in the ticket as that is the first thing they would do (verify the issue). With regard to the other item that doesn't appear to be fixed for Spin Boyz, please reply to your ticket to let them know and they'll continue to work with you on that.

Edit - but note that I also did mention this to the team to make sure they knew it was happening, since that wasn't clear.

The memory usage is now pretty much in line with what I would expect from a product like Sample Tank. It kinda sorta feels like sounds load slower now than they did before, but I don't really care about that. There's still that Sample Tank 3 steel drums crash, but other than that ST4 is solid so far. I'm planning to use it in a jam over the weekend, that will be the real test.

Cool. Can’t wait to hear how it goes this weekend for you. I just installed 4.0.4 and played around a bit - seems good to go. I didn’t do any extensive testing, but I gotta move on - it’s now a tool in my box when I need it

just a heads up Peter... with the advent of 4.0.4 i now have the plugin working in Studio One Pro 4.1.4. don't know what fixed it but it no longer crashes to desktop so i finally have it working in all my DAWs and standalone. cheers mate

New update still will not load stand-alone version. I really don't have time to spend dealing with the registry edits support wants me to test (beta testing)...but I guess I have no choice. So frustrating. Especially since the VST version loads fine.

I have not yet been able to load it once. First, the GUI would load and flash every 5 seconds. After the first update, it just sits at 0% when building database. Support wants me to do a bunch of registry edits but I just haven't had time or energy.
