Weird "sale" anyway... Blue Cat Oscilloscope Multi is $49 on the manufacturers site, and Reverb.com state it as $49 discounted from $99.

mrj1nx wrote: Fri Apr 12, 2019 10:54 am How does the bluecat thing work? Since they dont allow transfers? Is this an officially supported sale? I think Reverb could be more clear on what products are being sold 2nd hand vs by them.
reverb have a digital division that sells software direct - I bought bc axiom from them in the past.

Bought Blackhole from JRR. Got SN.

Eventide is now asking me for a license key so I can register. Does JRR send me the license key later or has something gone awry here?

I was able to check it out with this link: https://reverb.com/sales/reverbsync-fre ... _sale=true
Then you can check the brand you want by selecting it on the left hand side. Hope this helps.
Thx!

Im still unsure with saurus 2 i think repro and diva eats it up even for 60 bucks...

Saurus 2 is a good sounding digital synth, but, RePro and Diva are definitely better analog modelled synths. None of the Tone2 synths have anywhere near audio rate modulation as well. Actually, it sounds quite horrible, when you go into audio range with the LFO's. I know Markus is always very keen on getting low system footprint, which is fine, but, obviously also can be hindering here and there.

thx a lot! i love gladiator 2 for example also with the randomizer to get some filler sounds and crazy stuff but i always use other stuff for basses, deep sounding sounds and the audio demo for saurus really lacks for a analog styled vst. again thx imma pass on this one, got Rayblaster though for its craziness!

One of the reasons I buy direct whenever possible. An extra few dollars for an easier purchase process? I'll take it. Got my Blackhole for $29 from Eventide yesterday, was registered and working in the time it took me to install, open iLok manager, and activate.

I'm sure JRR will sort you out, though. Just send them a support request.

The license key is usually listed next to the serial in the same line in that email. It should say something like:

Serial Number: XX-XXXXXX / License Key: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

If it is not there, they will most certainly sort that out for you.

This is correct. It looks like one long serial number but if you look the word Key is in there, and that is where the license key starts.

Waves H-Delay is also very cheap to be had at the moment: https://www.thomann.de/de/waves_h_delay ... _delay.htm

I bought it yesterday after demoing it, because i was looking for something more ressource friendly than Replika XT... as much as i like it, it takes more than most of my synthesizers with a moderately taxing patch, with one instance. That's a tad too much. H-Delay also sounds very good, is simple (which is also a point which i considered), and it takes way less CPU as well.

Deep thanks to cclarry for the early start on these sweet Reverb deals :tu:

I noticed JRR had a bunch of FM sample packs DX7 etc, I couldnt find any audio examples, does anyone know or can anyone tell me about the quality?

I have the D-50 set and I've been pleased with the quality especially at the 50% off price.

Don't have any of the others, but I'm considering getting another set or two.

One of the drum packs is free if you want to try it yourself. Each patch contains one full kit.

I have VCO80 Leads and they are sampled well. Samples are stretched one semitone both directions, covering 3 total notes. Bottom and top samples are stretched about an octave. They are looped well. No scripting, no velocity layers, no round robin, all samples have the same ADSR amp envelope (0 0 0 1.2k ms), but easily changed. Each patch is its own file. Samples are open WAV files.
