Uts but what does it mean to have via sources above the matrix?

Welp...that looks amazing...

I don’t need any more synths

The post above this is likely bait, viewer discretion is advised.

Wow no comparison to the crazy pastel color design from the last time. I like that!

What do you mean?

If you mean the sources above the matrix, on the right hand side, you can drag those directly onto knobs or sliders to make new Matrix slots - even when the matrix is not visible. This is similar to how it's done in Serum.

If you mean the actual "via" sources in the matrix, these were always there...?

Post

No HQ button, right?
Not that it's necessary, I have no complaints about Hive 1's lack of one.
Just getting kind of used to your stuff having it.

And yes: It looks sooo nice! :)

We're experimenting with variable control rate, which could result int a HD (not HQ) button. But the sonic difference seems so neglectible, it may not be worth doing.

I mean this one, right now you can select those in matrix using VIA. So i dont really understand why to move them, is there more to that?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Would it "fix" the issue presented with high rate pitch modulation and FL Studio? if yes then please do :)

Yep, you got the answer already. You can directly drop those onto a destination even without matrix visible.

I think it's just an alternative approach. If you were to drag, say, modwheel to the filter cutoff or something, it would automatically create an entry in the mod matrix.

This.

Ok, here's a quick preview video done with a much less mature state:

This video was produced for internal use only (beta testers & sound designers), we'll make a much better and improved one with the final version.

And this is something i dont understand a bit why its needed. Well maybe some of internal sound designers thought of "how cool it would be just to have those bellow". I personaly never thought of that, VIA place near source looks a perfect place :D but its personal view i guess :)
