Hello all, I just downloaded the Tracktion demo to try out, and i can't seem to figure out how to insert a VSTi to a track, In the Settings TAB I added the path to where I install my VSTi's along with the C:\Program Files\Tracktion\plugins. In the edit window i point my USB Keystation to the track i want to input midi notes into, but after that, I can't seem to find where to add the Vst instrument. Thanks for your help!

Drag the "new filter" icon down to the track.
You should get a list of all available "filters", which in Tracktion includes all your VST effects & instruments..

It's a good idea to turn on the "popup help" while you're taking your first steps with tracktion. It helps examining the desktop...

You'll find the button in the lower left corner of the screen - or you push the F11 key. Hint: For your very first investigations you should turn off the delay of the popup help!

You'll be amazed at the amount of red tape this app has cut through.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one who had trouble finding my VSTs after installing Tracktion. I finally did after exploring, but the initial word Filters through me off. Wouldn't it have made more sense to call it something else, like oh say, VST Plugins or Instruments? I know not all VSTs are intruments and vice versa, but a separate section for VSTs would have been nice and a little easier to understand. Well, that's just what I think.

Yeah I had the popup help on but when i scrolled over new filter it didn't mention anything ahout VSTi's, only audio filters.

So far its a nice package, I just may buy this package.
