Urs, a simple request. Could you add "midi note learn" to the next preset and previous preset buttons? This makes it so much nicer when previewing sounds. Omnisphere allows this, and it's really useful.

Well, prev/next preset browsing by MIDI is a very common request. It requires a different way of preset loading from what we have now because file access is not permitted during MIDI events. It's usually done by running the prest file loader in its own timer. We have always planned to do that, but never gotten around to doing it.

Thanks Urs, I thought it might be easy to add on the midi learn page. I've been a programmer in another life, writing satellite communication software, so I know that some things that appear trivial take a lot of work, while others that seem complicated are simple to implement, depending on the structure of the code.

Probably won't happen considering there's the MIDI Programs folder that supports Bank Select+Program Change.

EvilDragon, I'm new to this, could you point me to any info/documentation, on how this works in Hive?

Hehehe, that happened about two months ago. Here's a video I posted a few pages back... the scope was stilly a bit buggy, but you'll see where this goes.

We also renamed it "Scope" from "Insights" after the audio was recorded.

Although the narrator in the videos speaks English, he somehow reminds me of Die Sendung mit der Maus - Erklärvideos. I love that way of intonation and rythm. Who is it?
