FR: 18dB slope for MEqualizer

Hi,
would like to suggest an additional -18dB filter slope for the bands in MEqualizer. Sometimes, if you want to mimic another filter, actually a 18dB slope is the best fitting regarding resonances, esp. when it comes to analog emulation plugins.

Select the 6 dB/octave Low-pass or High-pass then set Slope to 3.

Hm, but that filter does not react on Q, even you can move the Q knob. Also with slope 3. Thanks anyway.

Nice simple solution.DarkStar wrote: Sun Apr 14, 2019 5:09 pm Select the 6 dB/octave Low-pass or High-pass then set Slope to 3.

Oops-duplicated post....see next post for an awesome deal on what's arguably the most versatile and advanced eq out there...

This could easily be your go-to eq for life. I won't try to explain all that it does.
Instead, here's a great video review: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vUBxW_NLZK8
Deal is on until April 30, 2019. If you invest $37.00, you will have an eq that can do just about anything that any other eq can do, and much more.

MAutoDynamicsEQ and MDynamicsEQ do not provide a 6dB++ filter at all. And in MEQ the 6dB++ filter does not seem to react on resonance, even switched to 18dB/3p mode. Also I now checked the LP and HP filters on the side in MDynamicsEQ and it also doesn't support resonance.
Can you add a 18dB filter with resonance, maybe even to MEqualizer?

Yeah... It is a f**king 18dB filter 4-liner... (To continue the emotional part in this discussionsirmonkey wrote: Sun Apr 14, 2019 5:48 pm P.S. Developers LOVE feature requests for their free products![]()

I'm afraid this would be a problem, mainly because of backwards compatibility, I just cannot add another value to an automated/modulated parameter, sorry. You can try combining multiple LP/HP filters, for instance using an MP, that's what these are for after all
