With regards to that II:

I understand why you took the time to make the ff and rew buttons actually ff and rew - it's obviously what they are supposed to do. However, this may not be the most convenient way to use those buttons in most cases.

So what I am proposing is this:

a) keep the default behavior as it is now.
b) Now shift, ctrl and alt do the same things (ie go back to 1). Better in my opinion: ctrl go back to 1. alt goes back to previous marker or similar, and eventually to 1 (the old behavior). (I don't know if there is need for a third option, and if so, that would be shift-click.
c) Give the option to switch the default behavior (like we are able to switch if it's right-click or ctrl-click that deletes notes in the piano roll editor). Then, I, dakkra and more can use the buttons as earlier, while new users are met by ff and rew buttons that actually do what they are supposed to do.

😂 Thats a burn, eitherways new features are always welcome and if there is enough voice against them in the community, mr. Jo would be compliant enough to work out a solution!

Really? Have you seen my byline?

I haven't tried the update to the new rew/ff feature yet. But I've found the existing performance of it annoying, unpredictable and very erratic!

The way it was in Muzys was far better imho. Left click = slow rew/ff, right click = fast rew/ff. You could enhance it using keys to add or change functions of these.

Is this a new permanent download page for patch updates?

I would consider changing the word Condition in the second heading to Requirements. Just makes more sense in English.

Just a helpful tip that's all. :)

It has been that page for a long time already. Only when in a beta stage there is a separate page for the beta.

As you know Linux is not supported atm so i can't really research this. Just this question: What exactly happens? Do you get an error?

Post

Ah ok it's just that it looks different from last time I used it.

Thanks for looking into the rew/ff thing.
