I saw a topic saying that you were going to implement a "unipolar/bipolar" switch sometime in the future, i was just kinda curious to know if that is still in the works?
And for now, what is the easiest way to implement a unipolar LFO? i've been doing 50% amplitude on the LFO then adding 50 to it in the modmixer, but is there a quicker, less cluttered way that i'm missing?
thanks

That's the asiest way so far. Another way is about using a modmapper to map the LFO into positive space.
I have it in the back of my mind. Might be an addition I can fling in on short notice.

That would be amazing! That's one thing I've been wishing was a little simpler to do. On sort of related topic, is there any chance that controls over LFO symmetry and smoothing in the style of Uhbik would ever be implemented? Or does anyone know of an easy way to do this already?

can u explain that please abit more in detail, cause when i increase the actuall MMix1 ( wich is located on the filer, the modulation source" )
the lfo starts goinf bipolar.
could you please explain a step by step process ?
thanx !

I'm new to Zebra, just bought it two weeks ago....
Are unipolar LFOs now possible? I think, no?! :-/
How is it possible to use a modmapper to got similar results? I didn't figure it out until yet....

I reproduced the modmixer trick, it works. Thank you Ryan!ryan.mcallister wrote: Wed Nov 11, 2009 10:13 pmAnd for now, what is the easiest way to implement a unipolar LFO? i've been doing 50% amplitude on the LFO then adding 50 to it in the modmixer, but is there a quicker, less cluttered way that i'm missing?
Besides of that, a simple uni/bipolar switch would be not a bad thing....

Modmapper trick: make a simple ramp (it's one of the preconfigured shapes), make it unipolar. Set mode to smooth and mod by LFO. Then use that modmapper as modsource instead of the LFO itself. Unneccesarrily convoluted, though at least some of us get a little learning experience that might inspire other ideas sometime later.Rastkovic wrote: Fri Apr 19, 2019 9:53 am I'm new to Zebra, just bought it two weeks ago....

Yes they are and there is no need of tricks!
Use User Waveform in the LFO then right click and choose unipolar.

Drawing a sawtooth for example is not possible with user waveform, only with a soft attack.bluemoonone wrote: Sun Apr 21, 2019 9:48 pmYes they are and there is no need of tricks!

Ok, now i've got it.Gone soft wrote: Fri Apr 19, 2019 12:55 pmModmapper trick: make a simple ramp (it's one of the preconfigured shapes), make it unipolar. Set mode to smooth and mod by LFO. What i've doing wrong before: If you want to use a sawtooth with negative ramp, you have to use a sawtooth with positive ramp as modulator.
In my opinion the solution with MMix is the best for me. But the other options are also very nice to know. Thank you for this. @all
