Hi, I have a question about the recording from a mic in Mulab 8

I seted up the Asio4all driver and selected my mic there. But when I try to record something it only records the metronome sound. Is there something I have to select first?

Dude first check your microphone with other apps and see if it works ,maybe u decreased mic volume settings in windows,and paste here screenshot of your audio settings

I hope you can see the pictures. I don't really know what I have to select instead. Thanks for your help!

U turned off your auna microphone in control settings of asio,turn it on

U turned off your auna microphone in control settings of asio,turn it on.Do u see in rak 2 windows u use built in conexant microphone inputs not external auna mic

Now it is showing an X, is that normal? And it's called "not connectet"...

well seems u didnot turn off your built in conexant inputs,turn on conexant and turn off your auna mic and go to control panel of windows choose audio manager
