What's the easiest way to record the audio of a simple Max patch running through Mulab? Right now, if i choose the Rewire button when adding a track the meters light up and response to volume levels but pressing record does nothing.

I think I read somewhere to use Rewire as a plug-in and not a rack but I'm not sure what that means as I don't know this DAW at all.

Create a new audio track and set the inputs for that track's audio recorder to the output of the rack that holds the ReWire device. Also make sure the audio recorder is armed. Then pressing record should record the output of that ReWire rack.
