Well, given Steiny and the VST3 debacle, has any country taken away more from the VST world than Germany?Teksonik wrote: Wed Apr 24, 2019 12:21 pm The OP might have one point. Has any country contributed more to the VST world than Germany (including the format) ?![]()

they mine unobtainium in berlin.
it is added to cereals making german kids 20-40% more intelligent than the rest of the world.
if they shared the unobtainium wales could be on the virtual synth map.

Well, even just talking about VST3, i don't get your point. not even the ability for new developers to legitimately make VST2 plugins? you might want to let all the dev forums know the good news.chk071 wrote: Wed Apr 24, 2019 1:25 pmWell, even just talking about VST3, i don't get your point. How is that taking away from them, if they can develop VST3's? Every serious dev develops VST3's now. And every long term developer still has a license to develop VST2. Nothing is taken away.whyterabbyt wrote: Wed Apr 24, 2019 1:27 pmnot even the ability for new developers to legitimately make VST2 plugins? you might want to let all the dev forums know the good news.chk071 wrote: Wed Apr 24, 2019 1:25 pmWell, even just talking about VST3, i don't get your point.
