The OP might have one point. Has any country contributed more to the VST world than Germany (including the format) ?

Funnily, the one guy, which is also visible on the "intro" picture of the video, looks exactly like someone i knew 20 years ago.

not even the ability for new developers to legitimately make VST2 plugins? you might want to let all the dev forums know the good news.

How is that taking away from them, if they can develop VST3's? Every serious dev develops VST3's now. And every long term developer still has a license to develop VST2. Nothing is taken away.
