STYLE: Neon: some style colour palettes

You might like to try the attached colour palettes in Neon.

• UnZip the file to your Desktop,
• open any plug-in, click [Settings], then [Style] and make sure that Neon is selected,
• in Colour Settings, click [Presets],
• if you want to replace the current palettes, click "Root" in the folder hierarchy,
• if you want to add the new ones into a folder, click "Root", then [Add], type a folder name, then click [OK],
• double-check that the desired target folder is selected,
• click [Import], then select "Desktop",
• select "Neon_palettes_DS", then click [OK],
• click [Add] or [Replace] as desired, then [OK].

The new palettes will now be available for selection. I run my screens with a low brightness so you may wish to tone down some of the colurs and save the modified palettes.

Info: If you set "Allow default colours by plug-in type" in the Settings panel, then one of the 8 palettes in the Root folder will be selected automatically for those plug-ins where you have not already selected a colour palette. For example Dynamics plug-ins the highlights will be orange, for Equalizers they are green. The zz-default_categories folders is just a reminder of the colours.

Neat. Although after setting the style (stereo/cyan) for one plugin and setting it as default, when another plugin is launched the new colour scheme does not hold and has to be specified again. Not really familiar with colour settings, I'm surely missing something. Using the latest 13c version of the plugins.

Of course - you might want to change the Text and Shapes colour in the palettes in the Root folder to be a light grey.

I think that the default palette only holds if a palette has not already be selected for a plug-in. Not sure though.

Select current style as default button
Select current style as default button stores the current style as the default for all MeldaProduction software. This is used for the other plugins that are currently using the default style; that is, those plugins for which you have NOT selected a specific style. Please note that if you have already selected a specific style for a particular plugin, then it won't be changed until you use the Default style button.
