Hi, I'm a first time caller, long time listener and I've got a qick question.. I'm currently using a Tascam US-428 with Tracktion.. which works great to record audio and midi (although I get some drop out on midi during playback sometimes.. don't know why..but that's another topic..)
Anyway my question is this.. The Tascam US428 works well as a control surface but how do get it to talk to Tracktion? I'm currently not using it to "control" any of the Traction functions (play, ffwd stop rew record) or control any levels of any of the tracks etc.. Is there a way to do this? It has a jogg wheel that'd be handy to be able to use as well..
Thanks!

Ah, a radio talk show fan, eh?
Welcome to KvR and Tracktion. Tracktion does not respond to CC messages--but hang in there, it's on the to-do list (he said hopefully).
Of course you can control the various VSTs that respond to midi messages.

Thanks for the replies!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for Version 2 support..glurgle wrote:external controller support is something I'd bet on for version 2, and not before 'then'
