let's say i drag in 2 loops both in c and 2 bars in i want to change to a d chord for bar. how can i select both and change them? i think the chord track has to have a pattern generator to use it, but can i change chords easily without that process of a chord track?

I'm not aware of any way for the chord track to influence audio. I can't think how that would work, other than perhaps a MIDI note/chord appearing somewhere and being allowed to be recognised from/by other tracks or plug-ins. Perhaps that's a new feature.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

Melodyne Editor can recognize and change the existing notes within a polyphonic audio clip. If the original chord could be determined and the chord that is being changed to in the chord track is obviously known, then in theory with algorithms like the ones in Melodyne it would be possible.
Not that I would expect that to actually be implemented anytime soon... but in theory, the technology exists, or at least nearly so.
