This keeps happening. Everytime I use Tracktion it kills my pet groundhog. I use Logic, Cubase, SAW, Acid, Garageband, OctaMED, and VisiCALC and it never happens with any of them.

This program is crap. I reported this months ago and it still isn't fixed.

This never used to happen before Mackie bought Tracktion.

JULES FIX IT NOW!!!!1!

And give me a free replacement groundhog or I'm going to tell all of my friends to use GarageBand. :x

The problem is not in Tracktion, it's in your groundhog. Are you running Groundhog 95? There are known issues. Update to Groundhog 2000 or Groundhog XP and you should be ok.

Alternatively, you could switch pets and move to Aardvark X, which while a less popular platform is far more attractive, albeit somewhat slower and more expensive to maintain.

Jules' groundhog is a different breed which is clearly why he can't replicate the problem! btw, my groundhog died too! WTF man! Now that it's been confirmed that sony has bought out apple, I'm moving to Acid! :P

That's strange, Valley. I've not been able to replicate this problem at all.

I lined up 6 groundhogs and subjected them to 17 hours of continuous Tracktion, but none of them died (although 4 of them complained vociferously about the quality of the music I compose  )

I have a different problem. In my neighbourhood there's this whole group of Sonar thugs that keep killing my hampsters. Do you have any advice that can help on this?

 @ all of you.

You should have used a rack filter.

Rack filters are absolutely safe for groundhogs. Of course, you have to configure them for 50% dry and 50% wet.

Are you sure you had a groundhog?

Maybe it was a cat?

They both have fur.

I heard a rumour about a new kind of groundhog, called Groundhog 2. What do you think you can do with it?

You have to be careful with the wet/dry mix, an overly damp groundhog is going to start artifacting! :o  :P :hihi:

Ohoh! If it's not monkey safe, and I make a monkey of myself on KVR and then go use Tracktion, will it kill me? omg maybe I'm already dead and I can't tell!!
