Now upgrading to MComplete from MtotalFX?

Hi,
do you think, now is the time to update to MComplete Bundle from MtotalFX? I would have to pay 387€ in my upgrade path.
I have no idea how expensive MSoundfactory will be and what at an introoffer nor if there will ever have to be released another Instrument... but in a way I'd like to just have this feeling "I don't have to think about what will come from Melda, I won't have to pay for it..."
what do you think?

Well, it's surely nice to have the Komplete (ah ah, just a joke !
) bundle. I got mine when there was a general sale, like 50% off or something. Added to the discount represented by the plugins I already had at that time, it made it a quite good deal. But that's only a small part of the whole thing. The largest portion is about getting to know how to use, how to recognize capabilities, tones and characters and instinctively putting that knowledge to good use. For instance, since I got the bundle, it's only last week to I started to recognized the potential of MMorph, and I still have a lot to discover.
The videos made by Chandler are very important learning tools I find. Even apart from the main subject they often reveal 'little things' which are very useful, due to their informal friendly presentation.
Cheers.

I bought in on the MTotalBundle, MDrummer and MPowerSynth pretty early - and have never regretted it
But... the pricemodel for upgrading, is based on what one once payed, and thus if i where to upgrade from MTotalBundleFX to MComplete, it would cost me 1544€ just to get MSoundFactory
.... Well actually it seemes like MSoundFactory is gonna be available within MXXX (Pretty awesome!!!), making it 1544€ just to get MSoundFactory as an independent plugin instance.
It seemes like MPowerSynth is somewhat built into MSoundFactory - i dont know if thats true though. But if is is, there might be a crossgrade-/upgradepath from MPowerSynth to MSoundFactory...
I'd say... go for it. Upgrade - I have had mine MTotalBundle a long time now, and Vojtech / Meldaproduction is very very productive, constantly releasing new FX, Instruments, and drumlibraries as well as new plugin features.

Ups, thanks for that hint, didn't notice that. Being available in MXXX makes this upgrade rather questionable, but maybe it's good for something, someday.
Makes MXXX a real nobrainer, if somebody wants to join the melda family.

Agree, having this peace of mind is very valuable, more so considering many creative people here have rather variable incomes, so we don't know if we will have the budget to acquire something at the time it is released or when its price is accessible and having Complete rules out that scenario.
Furthermore, paying for Total Bundle or Complete is a way to endorse and support the developer, which is something that for sure most people here, and many out there, favor in view of what is already received, let alone possibilities.
I'd say great decision mccy.

You are right! I am so happy to be able to use all these tools! I like UHEs model of prices and activating very much, too, but the MELDA idea is just like it should be! When a computer dies, no problem, just installing. Working ona different laptop on the road: No problem, just installing. That makes it so much easier and I appreciate andsupport this concept so much.
Thank you, Melda!
Thank you, Melda!

mevla - Thank for the shoutout
Anyway I think it’s definitely worth it. Not only are the constant updates, but there are also plugins added fairly often. It’s like an investment that only goes up.

The MeldaProduction model is such an incredible value at any level. If I had the budget for one of the major bundles I would do it in a second.
You can make a career out of mastering even one single plug-in Heck, I've been using MCompressor for years, and every once in a while I'll stumble across a feature I didn't realize it has, like the EQ in the detector or the custom shape. Not because they're obscured, but because I'm not expecting such depth in a freebie compressor!
He's as smart at marketing as he is at programming. The Free Bundle worked just as it's intended to with me, I started using it, then bought a plug-in, then bought another, registered the Free Bundle, now I'm just fascinated by what he's going to do next. As my mixing skills develop and I want another plug-in, I check here first.
Even owning just the Free Bundle license, I find value in the fact that he adds new plug-ins to it, and that sells me on the idea of someday owning a license for one of the biggies.

Yes, one aspect not yet mentioned is that this model favors those pioneers who are willing to support Meldaproduction early. That is a kind of differentiated loyalty support, benefiting more those who got in the sooner.Starship Krupa wrote: Fri May 10, 2019 6:57 pm The MeldaProduction model is such an incredible value at any level.
If you were one of the lucky ones that bought a Melda bundle early on, you have witnessed a large increase in the number of plugins in it.
Plus even if you have separate plugins (no bundles) their functions keep increasing. Not just support updates or up-to-date compatibility, but new upgrades with -sometimes unexpected- functionalities, including the incorporation of novel technologies.
Your old acquired EQ may now be oversampled 16x times for a cleaner result, or your Metering will take advantage of your latest shinny GPU card processing and these are just a tiny, tiny example.
If you've got earlier Melda versions, now at V13 they are radically up to date.
No wonder there are happy believers here

I'm happy that I started this thread. So nice to collect these positive vibes.
From the 'benefit-point-of-view' I just realized that with a gowing MSF functionality more Synth devices will come that will be handy to use as seperate devices.
That is a really smart concept, to open up modularity and benefit from the creativity of the user base. Hope this concept will be a hughe & growing success!
