GroundHogs were a quick fix to stop the crackerling you can get from a standard Hog in a hot mix.
It’s no wonder it cannot cope and die off, just compare the size of a fully-grown Hog to a fuzzy groundhog.
I reckon you should move to an industry standard like the Kangaroo (Don’t skimp with this either – no wallabies ok?!) – I found much better bounce ability in T with how the Kangaroo has been implemented.

I just tried out the kangaroo fix... with disasterous results. The kangaroo hated my mix so much that it trashed my computer. Holy shiiiat
It especially hated the repetitive refrain that went something like:
"When's T2, la la lala la,
Coming out, ooo ooo, baby..."
So Tracktion's just become extinct in these parts... a full reinstall is required so that I can repeat the whole damned exercise tomorrow...
