Should be in the next few weeks. Massive X will be released in June. Maybe they combine that somehow. Just a guess though.Mathematics wrote: Fri May 10, 2019 3:00 am Does anyonehave inside information about when Native Instruments is having its next sale?

Okay, thanks for the information.Insanelysane wrote: Thu May 09, 2019 7:08 pmIt doesnt happen often, not at this steep a discount. Upgrades are more common around Summer sale, I believe its annual or at most every second year. Crossgrade offer is very good and based on history isnt likely to be repeated anytime soon.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Thu May 09, 2019 3:55 pm Damn, if this USB e-licenser thing was not required, I would have jumped off right away. I always wanted to try Cubase Pro. Is this the first time they have had this 50% offer on Competitive Upgrade? Or does it happen this time every year?
The eLicenser is a problem indeed. Especially when you already maxed out with usb slots. The eLicenser does run seamlessly though, unlikely to cause trouble, just an unnecessary hog.
The price is indeed tempting, but the e-licenser is the biggest turn off for me. And that makes it a good reason, I guess, that I should not buy Cubase Pro and also save the time, money, and headache of learning a new DAW. I will stick to FL Studio and Maschine.

I just checked and the upgrade sale is still not on their dealer page.courtjestr wrote: Thu May 09, 2019 3:32 pm Uncle E, now that Steinberg is offering 50% off upgrades for Cubase, will you be doing the same in your shop?

We see a lot of Chinese customers buying orchestral libraries.hhuang9611 wrote: Thu May 09, 2019 4:01 pm Also why do they provide an additional line of Chinese, which is poorly translated BTW.I don't think cubase would be popular in China, at least for music production as far as I know, because everyone seems to be using FL studio.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem so.

We can only do the 50% off sale. Unfortunately, we're not able to discount any additional from there.3ptguitarist wrote: Fri May 10, 2019 12:50 am I'm wondering if jrrshop will do a cubase pro 10 upgrade discount as well as a group buy discount in addition to the Steinberg discount?

Cool, guess there are many professional score producers from China. I mainly focus on the electronic music side, so guess my view is biased thenUncle E wrote: Fri May 10, 2019 8:16 amWe see a lot of Chinese customers buying orchestral libraries.hhuang9611 wrote: Thu May 09, 2019 4:01 pm Also why do they provide an additional line of Chinese, which is poorly translated BTW.I don't think cubase would be popular in China, at least for music production as far as I know, because everyone seems to be using FL studio.

Uncle, I bought the Cubase Pro Crossgrade, but haven't received any information about how to redeem or provide proof of ownership of one of the DAWs listed. What should I be doing? I emailed the sales email about it.

If they sent you a serial you would just register it in the eLicenser Control Center application. As somebody pointed out, you can't really proof ownership of Logic, so my guess is that the cross grade is most likely just following the honor system.WinterofAutumnFalls wrote: Fri May 10, 2019 3:30 pm Uncle, I bought the Cubase Pro Crossgrade, but haven't received any information about how to redeem or provide proof of ownership of one of the DAWs listed. Some retailers will demand proof of eligibility in advance before they provide the serial number.mgw38 wrote: Fri May 10, 2019 4:09 pmIf they sent you a serial you would just register it in the eLicenser Control Center application. If you already have a serial number then you are good to go.
With Logic can't they just ask for proof of purchase or a screenshot showing the serial number as they do for other DAWs? It's a paid for item so there will be a trail somewhere.

I already have the Custom & Vintage SDX, which is the bigger version from Vintage Rock, but if you only have EZDrummer, this is a great deal.seangm wrote: Fri May 10, 2019 2:20 pm Uncle E - Will you have the Toontrack EZX weekend sale prices on JRR Shop?

Yes, they want a screenshot of your purchase receipt, or of proof of registration / latest update, or a photo of the serial number on the box. It could probably easily be photoshopped though, and someone could have sold their software after purchasing, so it's still a bit of an honor system.agharta wrote: Fri May 10, 2019 4:17 pmSome retailers will demand proof of eligibility in advance before they provide the serial number.mgw38 wrote: Fri May 10, 2019 4:09 pmIf they sent you a serial you would just register it in the eLicenser Control Center application.
