We certainly don't need Cubase.dune_rave wrote: Sat May 11, 2019 3:01 pm It's interesting they are also doing this "competitive crossgrade" option.
It seems if I have FL Studio Producer Edition, I can crossgrade to Cubase Pro at a lower price...
On the other hand, having Reaper and FL Studio I don't feel the need to try another daw, this two covers everything (in my case).
With the speed we have with FL and with the speed the development and improvements are going on, I don't see a need to make our life difficult with another DAW. Hope you follow the Looptalk forum.

I had 9.5 and it showed for me to go to 10 was $99, and the 50% off price was $50.mgw38 wrote: Sat May 11, 2019 2:10 pm ....
.5 version upgrades are usually 49 Euro or USD, full version upgrades are 99....
Did I get burned?

With full version upgrade I meant from 9.5 to 10.0.

I didn't get an 'upgrade', I got an 'update' from 9.5 Pro to 10 Pro.

What country are you in? Elements shouldn't be that expensive.
Normal price in the US is $99, the 50% off price is $50, and they don't show any crossgrade options for Elements.

Maybe you got the Pro version? https://www.steinberg.net/en/shop/buy_p ... ro-10.html

question: I am currently on a Mac, and have decided to try the 30 day free trial for Elements. Should I decide, if this Mac craps the bed before I wish it to, and am too pissed at Apple to buy another and to move to a PC, do I have access to the PC version of the software that I've bought? That is, if I decide to buy it?

thank you. Another, if I may. Can I buy it from an American dealer for $$, even though I live in Europe?

I think if you have a US address and credit card, you buy it online at US price. Just use a free VPN service if you keep getting redirect to EU site. As long as your credit card and home address is US based, you get US deal.Bombadil wrote: Sat May 11, 2019 10:06 pm thank you. Another, if I may.
