No problems with the feature changes made to the interface, but I have big problems with the changes in the look. I use the MLoudnessAnalyzer a lot for example and version 13 made it from loving it to disliking it.
Please make it possible to use the same dark look as in 12 with 'titanium' also in version 13.
The bright grey backgrounds for meters and curves and some other backgrounds are really holding me back to use 13. You can't change this element via settings. It's a huge pita for me to be honest. So big that I think I will stay with version 12 forever otherwise.
'Titanium' theme was a great and very balanced dark theme in version 12. I would love to have the same look in version 12. The version 12 'Titanium' theme is so much nicer and easier to look at (also the mild yellow botton color is a lot nicer).
I re-installed both demo versions for MdistortionMB quickly to show the difference. It's just an example, it's not only about this specific plugin, most plugins have now large bright areas.
Maybe a toggle for dark/bright mode in the stye configuration at least?
Otherwise I love you plugins melda.

Sorry, but these are the things we may just not agree. BUT - install V12, copy the style somewhere, install V13, then replace the new titanium (or keep both). The new version should load it fine (not the other way around).

Sorry, but how can someone design bright red knobs directly surrounding green panels...brrr

I appreciate your answer a lot Vojtech even when we disagree.
But understand that this will stop me purchasing any new melda plugins and reducing my usage to the ones I can't live without (mCompare is really awesome!). I really think you're not on the right track with your current UI design, I'm sorry to say that and I'm saying this with a lot of admiration for your work. I'm not talking about nitpicking about knob design or so. But the the bright/dark contrast on large areas is hard to look at. So at least a dark mod UI should be retained as a possibility. And I'm usually not someone who is picky in this regard. I maybe try the suggested hack, but I'm not feeling comfortable to hack a plugin to be usable for me.

I just discovered UraniumDark because of a suggestion here in the forum. I'm sorry, I overlooked this one so far (so many options)! This seems to be a dark mode.
It looks very dated and a lot worse than V12 Titanium but at least usable compared to NEON and V13 Titanium. Staying with this one for now
But with a professional contemporary or timeless visual design style you plugins could be a lot better. For me still the only weakness with melda. Love your work otherwise.

So last post by me about this topic.
Just look at these two screens from v13 Titanium. Does this really work for you?
Do you see the blueish curve? Sure I could pick a different color... but still I need to change all my old session just because of a plugin update. The white font on the yellowish buttons is really not nice to read. Hard to look at the meters for a longer period of time.

I know I said last post. Pardon me!
But I want to differentiate a bit better.
NEON is actually not that bad just looking at the used shapes! It's flater and clearer than most other themes. That's nice! The issue for me with NEON is just the colors and color combinations.

I have to agree, I liked the old Titanium better.
I'm using UraniumDark as well right now, with slighlty edited colors; it's a nice alternative.
Neon is also nice but I wish it had a darker background color on meters and such.

The Excitonium_DS Style from DarkStar might be the solution:
There are many different Color Setting Presets.

Well, if you all agree, we can always include the old Titanium, for the lovers of classics

Would be so great when I could just continue using the V12 Titanium look in V13 without hacking stuff or having fear that the modification of a theme make problems.MeldaProduction wrote: Fri May 10, 2019 9:39 pm Well, if you all agree, we can always include the old Titanium, for the lovers of classics.
I really want to move more towards melda for standard plugins because of the good technical quality and all the nice tools like AGC and no annoying copy protection and so. That's the reason why I care and not just use other stuff were I have no problems with the UI
