In case some of you missed it and because there are still no news about Hive 2 from Superbooth:
A few weeks ago Urs postet a pic of Hive 2 in the "coming soon" thread on page 4. And two videos about the new functions.

I think Hive 2 is really state of the art:
smartest and fastet preset browser, .uhm scripts, lock function, undo/redo, scalable UI, Mod-Matrix (with drag'n drop), beautiful and fast UI, etc. etc...

Hope you guys got the attention and success you deserve! The videos with Viktor are great.

And when you see where Hive has come from since 1.0 - 20€ are really a joke, e.g. compared to some mediocre Soundsets for 30€ and more.

Thought there would be a public beta before Superbooth. But ok, I can wait 3 weeks more.

Looking forward to the Bazille update!

Any news about Uhbik? New Interfaces, little mod matrix like Twang, Rackversion like soundtoys?

Oh dang! I've held off on Hive up until this point (own Bazille/Diva/Zebra2/Repros) but I'm for sure gonna have to get Hive 2, looks awesome.

That was a really nice set Urs. The timbres you have going on around 10:20 are really nice. You should have more confidence in your performing. Honestly, I stopped watching it but let it play in the background while I continued internetting and didn't notice any mistakes. It seems to me the trick to performing is not letting on something went wrong. Anyways... I always enjoy your modular performances. :tu:

Yep.

Upgrade Hive 1.x -> 2.x: 20€.

Zebra 3 is the next major project, but we're also releasing small updates to ACE and Bazille this year, and sooner or later an update to Uhbik. The schedule / Priorities will be set after Hive 2.0 release.
Sounds great on all points. I'm in. And very happy to hear that Uhbik will receive an update. It's a collection of gems that deserves more love (and hopefully you'll do the long-ago promised "rack" feature!!!!!) My hope is that Uhbik gets a routable modulatable presetable rack combinator-like addition that will let us build out all sorts of creative sound design presets with the Uhbik modules. :-) Pretty please.

From the video, concerning the upgrade price:

"For old Hive 1 users ..."

Yeah ! I'm a Hive 1 user, and I'm old. I qualify ! :D

Cheers.

I managed to spend a couple of hours with H2 at SB.
The new modulators are the bee's knees. Sequenced envs, all kinds of note quantisation options - including custom scales - for modulations, though I haven't grasped the function generators yet!
Thanks to Howard and Urs for patiently putting up with my questions and showing me cool stuff (including the super secret prototype).
Also, you gents charge too little.

..the GUI is really nice , i'd really like to have it now , even in beta ...i'm curious to compare it to massive X...

Looks and sounds seriously good. Here come the slowest three weeks in a long time...

I guess we should rename them "AD-Envelopes"... but yes, the concept is pretty unknown to many people who learned synthesis with the paradigms found in Moogs and Rolands. It's a bit like "what does such a simple thing bring to the table?"

That's why we added the scope. The FGs can be as simple as you want (AD-envelopes), but they can also do a whole lot of unexpected things (clock dividing, gate delays, modulation freezing, per-note expressions...). It helps to visualize the result.
