Guess you better take a look at the description at the respective shop. IF they list it.
Thomann is not always accurate about certain things. For example, I was looking at a guitar that was listed with an ebony fretboard. It was rosewood.

Version 9 also came with DVDs so it may have changed again with 10.
DVDS ?

What are they ?

Having just taken delivery of a Cubase Pro 10 retail box I can confirm that the only thing in the box is the dongle and the activation code.

Did anyone manage to obtain a crossgrade-license yet? I purchased mine last Wednesday (and sent the proof of eligibility the same day), then received a reply from Best Service that they are due to high demand currently out of stock on Thursday... they also said that Steinberg is totally overloaded ATM and that thus they have no idea when the'll get restocked.

So it seems that Steinberg's highly bureaucratic way of dealing with these crossgrades is coming back at them.

Sounds silly. First they are keen to sell a lot, and then they aren’t able to deliver.
I wonder how much this is up to BS, how much Sberg.

I don't know, the sale seems to have been hugely popular which leads me to believe SB are actually overloaded with requests.

If Best Service are sending the requests to Steinberg to check then they'll probably have to manually research each crossgrade request to ensure the user is eligible, so if there are thousands of people wanting to crossgrade (from the distributors and SB's own site) this could take a long time. My request took 24 hours but that was right at the start of the sale.

I was just wondering the same thing. I put my request into Steinberg on Saturday, though. I expected an answer by today, but I have a feeling it will be a couple of more days from now. I also have this nagging feeling that the Steinberg sales and registration team take the weekends off

I ordered my crossgrade from Andertons (UK) on Friday morning, emailed them my proof of eligibility shortly after raising the order, and it was delivered today.

Definitely sounds like YMMV!

They do.

Steinberg support (I took out a ticket): "Support requests are usually responded to within 24 - 48 hours, excluding weekends and observed holidays."

I just got off the phone with a sales dude at another shop. They have the crossgrade in stock, and the dongle is included. So, I've ordered it. Canceled at Thomann because I'm not going to be here when they do get the cgrade. So, I expect I'll have it this week, sometime.

I have ordered from the same place.

Did you have to wait until they contacted you ?

There website contact page had nowhere to attach a PDF.

They are the latest cool retro thing that is a must have and will look good next to a collection of vinyl.

By the time we get to Cubase version 12 they will probably ship it on DAT tapes to appeal to the hipster market that like 8-tracks, vinyl etc.

I had to send an email with a copy of my Logic Pro X receipt to the shop I bought from (Musicstore.de).
