Will we see filters that are capable of audio rate modulation , this is the only issue holding me back right now from purchasing it .

I see you really interested in this feature. What are the real world applications of audio rate modulation? What kind of sounds are only possible through this feature and why is this so important?
I tried reading about it online, but I don't really understand the implications of using an audio rate oscillator to modulate a filter. I'm just trying to understand whether this is a must have feature or a good to have feature. Something that is holding you back from purchasing MSF.

Because it yields great results , for drones , pads, basses ..anything really .
If there wouldn't be any real world applications for audio rate filter fm , then the majority of ( analog)hardware synths wouldn't have it
Even my nord mosular has it
Having control over the audio rate amount with another mod.source ,envelope or filter etc..sky is the limit

One application is adding audiorate modulation from a different soundsource than the source passing through for sounds related to but disctintively different from FM of an oscillator.
Many of the other sounds we'd want are quite inharmonic, and I suspect we'd get many of the usual criticisms of why ever we'd want to make those sorts of sounds anyway. A pretty pointless debate as I see it, though anyone who's sufficiently bored and/or fanatic about their view will probably find entertainment in such a debate mostly for the hell of it.
Only example of a concrete type of sound in hardware I could find:

This audio rate is then found in many other soft synths ? Since I'm pretty much a noob in synths, anyone care to mention a factory patch from Zebra2 or Diva (or Blue2, Sytrus, Harmor, Synthmaster2, Icarus) that uses that so I can hear the actual effects it can have on pads ?
