That's exactly what I've done. I use FL Studio for the "creative" part and Cubase Elements for mixing. My perfect DAW would be "Cubase Fruity Edition"telecode wrote: Tue May 14, 2019 8:27 pm I see. I have been seriously looking more into Ableton as I hear that workflow is very very fast. I always stayed away because I thought it was a DJ tool. But I also made the same mistake with Maschine many years ago. I thought it was a EDM DJ tool, but after I got it and figured out how to use it, I live and breathe by it.
But like everybody else I couldn't resist the lure of a good deal and I've ordered Cubase Artist now. I'm not sure if I really need it at the moment, there's a lot you can get done with Elements, but it might come in handy for future updates to version 11.
