Another thing that might help is putting some of the less used parameters inside a pop-up for each OP. When you click OP1 for example you can have “noise”, “pwn”, “noise” etc controls and have maybe 3-5 of the most important controls on the main screen. It might help make the GUI smaller and easier to understand, while not taking away any features.
To be honest though, just the labels would be a big improvement.

Hehe, I sent Vojtech a rough mock-up of this a while back, but unfortunately, he said no.
Now that a few have mentioned it here also, he might reconsider?

He just said no, and not why he said no? Is this is a difficult thing to implement?jmg8 wrote: Tue May 14, 2019 8:38 pm Hehe, I sent Vojtech a rough mock-up of this a while back, but unfortunately, he said no.

The screenshot looks already better.
I'd personally use "OP1, OP2, OP3..." to recall the same name used right above in the operator sections.
And although I know the matrix columns look aligned to the operators above, I'd still personally put labels on top of columns as well. to me it would be easier to read the matrix.
Labels for rows AND columns are pretty much a standard for readability of grids/tables/matrices.
I can use it fine as it is right now, but it could be better.

My ugly take
I realize labels also on columns might seem redundant, but IMHO it makes it super readily available to the eye.
I wrote labels as "OP1" but it actually looks better and more consistent to the upper operator section as DarkStar made it, with the space inbetween... "OP 1"

The problem with this is that it would take more space and provide no information and we are already fighting every pixel... But hey, if your OCD's require this so much, I'll try
. Seems a completely crazy wasted space, but hey...

Thanks for taking it into consideration.
I completely understand you're working hard and getting bombarded by feature requests.
If it was only about alignment with the operators above, I would also call it OCD territory
Labels though, would actually and easily improve usability, and everyone (else) really seem to agree at least on this one.
Thank you for your patience

Well, a matrix being a matrix ... it's nice to have all sides identified where needed. More so if it aligns some columns.
