Changing style for all plugins

And what amazing capabilities this instrument has too, by the way! Everything I look at has more levels of controlableness and variation than I've ever seen ever. The oscillators alone are outstanding, tons of great new ideas there, just wonderful.

Another stupid question: Is it possible to bypass individual effects? I thought maybe not, because that might mean passing unaffected signal or nothing, depending on routing. Or maybe it's some obvious thing I didn't see, or didn't realize was a switch.

You can bypass an effect by double-clicking on it (or using the menu - right click on it). But that cannot be automated/modulated. For that you need to use some other FX - I'd recommend Ratio FX.

Hmmm, guess I didn't explore fully enough, would have thought I would have double- and right-clicked, but maybe not. Are you talking about clicking on an effect block in the routing diagram? Not in the synth right now, but I'll check it out.

I wasn't thinking about bypassing things as a musical effect I'd want to record (though sure, why not), more just to break down the parts of a preset, listen without individual effects, understand how much of the modulation I hear is fx vs other things, that kind of thing. Bottom line is that I want to do that while I'm making sounds more than while using them in a track. In a track, and you could just use another instance without some effect if you wanted that sort of hard cut between sounds, vs smooth parameter changes.

I meant the routing editor indeed. You can do lots of things there, from dragging each FX somewhere else, to specifying its input, grouping phases etc.

Some routing moves I had just tried and they worked as I expected without reading the manual, apparently I just missed right- and double-click.

Whats with the neon style being the default now ?

I had all mine set up nice with the colours I wanted. Whats the point of giving us the ability to customize settings if they're just gonna be reset every time a new version is installed. The neon style is nothing like neon. Neon is Tron Lightcycles. Melda Neon is nothing like neon at all.

At least give us a way to save custom styles so we can load them back in after we update to a new version, cos this happens every time there's an update.
Frankly, with the exception of the brilliant spectrum analysers on some plugins , I really dislike the GUI, and the ability to colour it makes it tolerable, but resetting it every time just makes me not want to use the plugins at all.
Please.....just give us the ability to save the customizations we've made, otherwise it's a waste of time tweaking them at all.
