This seems like it might be a useful, fun thread…? (PLEASE no interface/GUI complaints!)
Or…maybe better to have an MSF sub-forum here, so you could scan/search-through topics instead of posts?

I actually have two questions:
- What's the hierarchy of oversampling values selection among modules and global level?
Maybe I missed something but it looks like each module can have a different value, but there's no way to control the on a global level for the plugin.
- How do I use the LFO module in the generator grid?

Sorry, don't know anything about oversampling, but LFOs are like this:Niowiad wrote: Tue May 14, 2019 8:49 pm I actually have two questions:

Drag the arrow on any Per-voice mods (at the bottom of the grid) to the "receptor" for any controls that have them, just to the left of the control.
Open the drop-down for any mono mod (for controls without the "receptor") from the grid of buttons to the lower right of the grid, select Learn (button now reads REC) and move the target. Click button again to switch off REC, unless you want other targets.

I'm actually referring to the LFO module to put in the grid.
The actual module. I can't quite understand what's for.

Jeez, never even noticed that one (but now that I see it, I call it just what you did: the "LFO Module"). There seem to be no tools or controls for directing it at anything…
BUT…it DOES make a sound when the freq is high enough, and it can be modulated, and sent to FX…so I guess it's just a very basic Osc, named in the often somewhat odd, but arguably "correct", way by Vojtech, but tempting users to think it's "an LFO" with no way to use it like any other LFOs we're used to seeing
It's weird how lots of other tools you might want to send it into, like a mixer or merger (for "FM"?), don't seem able to grab its output. The "wire" just disappears.

Yeah precisely. I wouldn't really know how to route and use that LFO to alter the signal path in any useful way.
Oh well... I was merely curious, there's plenty of stuff to play with.

You can use the LFO module for modulating a FollowFilter or other sidechain using modules. Take a look at the "Lfo filter" preset:
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Interesting, thanks…but where's the "Lfo filter" preset from/found?Tagirijus wrote: Wed May 15, 2019 7:33 am You can use the LFO module for modulating a FollowFilter or other sidechain using modules. Take a look at the "Lfo filter" preset:

Tried it, I think…the LFO's doing nothing that I detect; got a Code paste I could check out?

EDIT; Found it, cool! It's the FFIlter's Side Chain that lets the LFO in…

SO much still to explore here, "endless", indeed:)

If I got this right global oversampling is controlled by the quility setting under "GLOBALS", from "Highest" and up oversampling is activated.
I always thought oversampling within individual modules multiplies the global oversampling rate.
Anyone here that can confirm or tell me how wrong I am if so should be?

Hi all, I am playing around with the demo and have a quick question: what modules are included in MSF? When I go to add effects it looks like everything Melda does is in there, but I am very doubtful that I could use those in MSF without purchasing those effects. I am just trying to get a grasp of what the purchase of MSF itself (which seems pretty cool after the playing I have done) would actually get me.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Yup, too good to be true…BUT TRUE. No additional purchases neededbryemye wrote: Thu May 16, 2019 5:34 pm Hi all, I am playing around with the demo and have a quick question: what modules are included in MSF? You can use them all, only downside : a bunch of them add latency which is not compensated by MSF, so use at own risk.bryemye wrote: Thu May 16, 2019 5:34 pm Hi all, I am playing around with the demo and have a quick question: what modules are included in MSF?
