you know it just needs to be said that the total lack of support lately for Zoyd is appalling. Urs, i don't know how you've managed to make it this far in life. I've had Logic 7 in my home for TWO DAYS now and Zoyd STILL hasn't been updated to pass the validation. this is simply unacceptable. i think i'm gonna start an online petition to raise awareness of this glaring contempt for the customer coming from what many think is Apple's newest suave up-and-coming developer. well, let me tell you, his image isn't all squeaky clean people! Zoyd users unite! we will be second-class citizens no more!

Truth be known, I prefer Zoyd to Zebra. It's a very cool straight-forward utility synth. Me and Zebra have never seen eye-to-eye.

If I recall correctly, Zoyd was never really a "released" plugin, but a "technology preview". So I wouldn't imagine this thing would be supported forever, but either way it is a damned nice synth and we'd all be sad to see it go away.
But give the guy some time for the cool stuff he's working on now. After all, if he doesn't sell us stuff he'll have to go out and get a job working for someone else and we'll be without ALL u-he goodies. Wouldn't that be worse?

I love Zoyd. I don't want to see it go away. If Zoyd was a final release, I'd happily buy it. I tried Zebra but I didn't like it.
If Zoyd doesn't work with Logic 7, I guess thats yet another reason for me to stick with 6 for the time being.
Please don't abandon Zoyd!

Zoyd can still be used in Logic 7. It just has to be enabled in L7's AU Manager.
I don't know why anybody would prefer Zoyd over Zebra... There are only a few things that are different, sound-wise. Zebra can do much more and once you get used to the editor, it can be used as fast as Zoyd.
Historically, Zoyd's code became a disaster to maintain. Hence I started over and called it Zebra. This is how they are related.
However, for those who do not need Zebra's depth and modularity, I'm considering kinda Zebra lite type of plugin. Maybe I call it Zoyd then
