Really wonderful GUI and workflow. This is a winner! Also really fantastic presets added. Love it.

Instabuy. I haven't tried it yet, but who could pass up this deal?

Upgraded without issue, but I do have a question on the installer that other people may also have: should I be installing it to a new Hive folder (for instance: Hive2.data) or does it not make a difference? I'm assuming it won't matter if you use the original Hive folder, but I used a new folder just to be safe.

EDIT: and looks like I assumed wrong and should have overwritten my original Hive installation path while upgrading! I was expecting this to be a whole new .dll/plugin-ID that could sit alongside the original, but it looks like it wants to replace the original.

Yes, it needs to replace it. Otherwise backward compatibility would be difficult and everyone would have to keep the old Hive around. It's not necessary this way.

The name of the data folder must always match the name of the plugin file. (AFAIK) If the plugin's name is Hive 2, but the plugin file is called Hive.dll (or Hive.component, etc.) then the .data folder must have the same name, i.e. Hive.data. Please note that any x64 additions, e.g. Hive(x64).dll should not be reflected in the data folder's name.
Cheers

Totally get it and appreciate the approach. You may want to include that in the upgrade guide and/or installer. A simple message like...

Note: if upgrading from Hive 1.x, please install into the same directories.

Others will likely assume, like I did, that new version and serial numbers means different directory.

Yep... we'll see if we can squeeze it into the PDF...

Just purchased the upgrade - my new serial arrived in seconds and the installation completed without any problems ...

Thanks for the Hive 2.0 !!

All working perfectly here - loving the new west coast stuff! It's perfect for the Doctor Who game I'm doing - and just in time too :) One minor quibble - the orange moulation indicators are slightly off from where they should be - I'm at 130% size if that's useful...

It works well on Linux Mint - Thank you :)

Actually I was just feeling like making an evil laughter, but I'll wait till I'm home :(

Hive2 working :)

I love the approach Hive 2 takes to workflow letting you be as high or low level as you decide. It's quickly becoming my favorite synth. And big kudos to the new 2.0 sound devs. They really showcase this beast is a lot more than just a basic entry device.
