Luckily we can do cyrillic since Hive 1.2drzhnn wrote: Fri May 24, 2019 12:05 pm Not an issue, but I thought I better report: payed via PayPal and for some reason my name in cyrillic form was used for registration. And it's like the first time ever this happened.
(you can of course have it changed to roman letters if you want, just tell the support guys)

On a slightly related note, is it possible to change the e-mail addresses that my licenses are registered to? At the moment they are spread between two different accounts, but I would like to consolidate them all into a third.Urs wrote: Fri May 24, 2019 12:41 pmLuckily we can do cyrillic since Hive 1.2drzhnn wrote: Fri May 24, 2019 12:05 pm Not an issue, but I thought I better report: payed via PayPal and for some reason my name in cyrillic form was used for registration. Initial test: updating from 1.2 to 2.0 works fine. Windows 7 x64. Tested in VSThost with VST2 x64. Only tested via RDP session will try in Bitwig and Cubase first thing when I get back to the studio.
Btw, is MIDI learn implemeted in VST3 version in v2.0?

The manual says no. This was just added to the VST3 SDK recently and I'm not sure how trivial it would be to add this, so it may still be a while before we see this trickle out to the U-he synths. The VST2 versions still work great, and you can MIDI Learn using VST2 and then switch over to the VST3 afterwards if you prefer and the MIDI assignments still work.

Lovely stuff Urs and team
Some thoughts (not all 2.0 related, sorry):
It would be nice if the wavetable name showed somewhere when using the arrows to switch between them (w/out having to go to the Hexagon, unless you automatically/temporarily show the hexagon when changing wavetables).

Maybe just replace "Wavetable" with the actual wavetable name that's in use?
When using the drop down WT menu, it would be helpful if there was some indicator (dot or high-light) to show which WT folder and wav/uhm is currently selected

Would it be possible to put a mod-amount indicator on the WT (up/down or however)?

Is the Mod indicator dot on WT larger than other targets for a reason? Looks too big IMO

Just FYI in case not known: Gamma changes appear to only take effect after closing and re-opening Hive (unlike the immediate change on Zebra/Bazille). Tested on Win10x64 Reaper 5 & Live 10

qoyl was right, all my Bitwig browser related issues where due to it being the VST3 version. By moving the VST3 version aside using Finder (only way in Bitwig to prevent falling back to it), it workes flawless again. Cheers!joris.roling wrote: Fri May 24, 2019 11:43 amGood thinking Watson! Will check & report back soon!qoyl wrote: Fri May 24, 2019 11:32 amAre you using VST3? If so, try switching back to VST2. I notice this has been a problem ever since Bitwig rolled out VST3 support for u-he presets. Not nearly as smooth as using VST2 for browing u-he presets.joris.roling wrote: Thu May 23, 2019 6:50 pm Hi Urs (and other U-Hers),
Love Hive 2.0, but found an issue.
I use Bitwig and its browser (love that it 'understands' U-He preset format), but with Hive 2.0 there is a noticable hickup (delay + hicking sound) after selecting (but not yet OK-ing) a new preset for Hive 2.0. After about for 5 seconds (!) this hicking stops, and the preset is actually selected. No crash, not workable either.
This was working flawless in Hive 1.2 (or any other VST actually)
Any clue?
Cheers,
Joris
Newer Bitwig versions will also default to VST3 version (or whatever you have specified as your preferred format), so this could explain why it was happening with only the new version of Hive.

wonderful update!
thank you!
re-reading and re-working the manual right now

+1, yes
would be great
checkmark would be more consistent imho
would also be great in the "big" hexagon wavetable view
> Looks too big IMO
looks big and kind of funny,
but easier to spot in the gui imho
speaking of mod indicator:
i'd love to see it also in the mod matrix
i.e.: if for example AMP1 is modulating WT1-Position
that the corresponding entry in the modmatrix also gets the mod-dot
love this mod-dot-indicator-thingie
cheers,

I'm running at 120% on this Win 10 system which is so old it runs on coal and don't seem to have any issues. I'm going to wait until next week to do the upgrade and then I can test on my studio computer which is a order of magnitude more powerful.Yorrrrrr wrote: Fri May 24, 2019 2:00 pm Switching GUI sizes to something other than 100% makes the GUI painfully slow. Anyone can reproduce this?
Are you running your Mac or PC (I think you have both right ?)
Anyway checking the RC on this system and it sounds absolutely glorious. Great work !
