I can't find the earlier thread on this, so I'll just start a new one.

We recently saw that some commonly seen parameter names got changed. For instance, Gain (or Input Gain) was renamed to Input. However, in MP and Mod target assignments, the old term is used and not the new one. This will cause confusion, and for newbies it will be incomprehensible.

Unfortunately that's sort of how it is now. When a parameter isn't found by mod/mp/.. it finds something else, and that's a very difficult process, which may not always work, so I'd rather keep it this way. After all, beginners won't really go this road and usually it is just "Input gain" changed to "Input", so the confusion hopefully won't be too big :)

In MAmp the change is from "Gain in" to "Input" so yes, it can become a bit confusing. But to me it's not that bad, since I always use the learn function.
