The other half weren’t important anyways.

For the ones not showing, are they from the same developer? Any commonalities among them?

I'm not seeing any of the new audio effects devices in the browser. I can "upgrade" an instance of Ping Pong Delay to the new Delay in a track, but there's no Delay in the browser.

There's no Channel EQ either.

Can't do a repair on the installation, so I think I'm down to uninstalling / reinstalling. First time I've had a Live install go south :(

You can force Live to rescan all plugins. Go to Preferences -> Plug-Ins -> Alt+Click the Rescan button. This has fixed issues like this for me in the past.

Solved - apparently it's a corrupt database file. Can be corrected by deleting. Follow these instructions:

CV Tools didn't make it, it is still on beta, same version as 3 weeks ago.
Oh :(

Thanks. I guess I will carry on running the beta then, rather than the release version. You saved me a big download :tu:

Excuse my clumsiness, but will be there any special offers on upgrading to live 10 soon?

Take your Credit Card out and wave it in the air. If they get the scent of money, there is a chance that they'll have a sale.

Out of interest, why? CV Tools is just another pack, and while it needs 10.1, its not restricted to the 10.1 beta.

Wonder if there's a way of knowing what is vst3 or not.

Haven't seen it in action yet, does it not show both the VST2 and VST3 versions in the browser?

I notice on the Live MacOS compatibility page they are still saying 10.0.6 and higher are "functional" but not "officially compatible" with Mojave. I was expecting with 10.1 they would say "officially compatible", given it won't be long until whatever follows Mojave comes along.

Yep, the VST2 & 3 are both in the 'plugins' tab, but are split into two subsections like so:

(Your VST2s being in the VST subsection, and VST3 in the ... you guessed it! - VST3 subsection)

SIDE CHAIN INPUT ON THIRD PARTY PLUGINS !!

i guess why this new feature is not more advertised, that is a game changer for me.

I was surprised by that too - That was the reason I was going to update my default channel strip and master bus with VST3 equivalents but looks like you can do it with reg'lar VST2 plugins as well !
