Re: Jam Points
Our IK rep said it’s not possible as the system is directly tied into IK’s payment system. However, he did say it has been requested and he will request it again.
I’m in the same boat, I have a bunch of Jam Points and it has just never made sense to use them.

Compared to L3 yes, it catches ISPs and provides compression, clipping and and extra stage of de-essing. Ozone is a fairer comparison feature-wise; I'd say it's a very different workflow but have only played with Elements.Ou_Tis wrote: Wed May 29, 2019 4:01 pmCan it do anything that Ozone Standard and L3 Multimaximizer can't? Jampoints are just a gimmicky way of offering a coupon. Usually coupons don't carry much value or discount.Uncle E wrote: Wed May 29, 2019 4:25 pm Re: Jam Points

I don't like the system, but IKM is generally a very gimmicky and consumer sales oriented company it seems. So this stuff is prevalent and likely not going away any time soon.

Ozone 8 technically doesn't have a clipper although according to a commenter on Gearslutz: "Maximizer, fastest Character setting down to zero, most loudest IRC mode and you will have x9 oversampled true-peak limiter with almost clipping style. Safer than just hard clipping"imrae wrote: Wed May 29, 2019 6:14 pmCompared to L3 yes, it catches ISPs and provides compression, clipping and and extra stage of de-essing. They do allow license transfer after 6 months, any idea what the fee (if any) is?...

Is the current UVI Vintage Vault sale a good one? I'm eligible for the 299 upgrade

50% off is good for UVI and I doubt you will see much more than that with maybe 60% at best but rarely.hhuang9611 wrote: Thu May 30, 2019 12:53 amIs the current UVI Vintage Vault sale a good one? I'm eligible for the 299 upgrade.
It's rather a large download at 116GB.

Thanks! I guess I will wait for a deeper sale then. I have this "special power" of seeing better price very soon after buying the stuff. Plus, no rush need for Vintage Vault (definitely like it though)agharta wrote: Thu May 30, 2019 1:50 am50% off is good for UVI and I doubt you will see much more than that with maybe 60% at best but rarely.hhuang9611 wrote: Thu May 30, 2019 12:53 amIs the current UVI Vintage Vault sale a good one? I could use Jam Points to reduce the price after VAT to the price they advertise their stuff on their web site and then still end up with ~15% more than the price at a retailer (tmann)

The 8Dio upgrade procedure for Adagio is somewhat flabbergasting. They just released the new version of Adagio Cellos. The library costs $98 and is on sale for $48. If you have the previous version the upgrade is $28. However, if you upgraded Adagio Violins when it came out (regular $98, on sale $48) which you could do for $8 if you asked them nicely, the Adagio Cellos upgrade is free. But only if you upgrade within the next 48 hours.
I think they are taking the "8"-theme a bit too far.

The code is only good for 48 hours, but after that, if you message support, they will just add it to your account. I was traveling and missed the 48 hours on the violas. They took care of it right away.mgw38 wrote: Thu May 30, 2019 4:28 pm The 8Dio upgrade procedure for Adagio is somewhat flabbergasting. They just released the new version of Adagio Cellos. It's probably to limit the number of shares of the code that most likely happen.
