MSF Performance Optimization Question

If we have a Modular module, either in the Generator or FX grid, and we set it to Bypass, then it's audio contribution is nullified - that much is obvious.

But do the component modules it holds automatically get put into bypass mode or at least have their processing turned off. Or, to gain maximum performance, do we need to go into all the component modules and explicitly set them to Bypass as well?

Yes, this is a good way to simplify optimizations. You bypass a single module and that's it. I'd also recommend disabling "Smart bypass" in module settings (FX only).

Do you mean disabling it specifically (and only) for Modular modules in the FX grid or any kind of module in the FX grid? Can you please clarify?

Only for the modular ;).
