Works fine in the latest release of Cubase 10 (Win10 x64), except that the UI is stutterung when moving the window around, but only when the track is running and the UI scale is larger than 100%. I tried the Eclipse skin from Plugmon, which I bought a few weeks ago. It still works (without the new features of cause) but it doesnt stutter ... but this is not a deal breaker - i'm more than happy with the new features.
Awesome job u-he
And the upgrade price is more than fair

Congratulations on the new update. The features are fantastic.....
But I really miss the simplicity of the old interface.
Please please add v1.2 as a skin ... and ideally I hope someone makes a skin similar to the old one with the new features.
(Especially if it would solve some of the graphics/cpu problems, not that I seem to be affected).
That said thank you all very much for the awesome work and dedication to your community

You can still use the "Hive Contrast" 1.2 skins. Change on the fly from the new skin to 1.2 and back again. All changes will stay. No problems. The new Modules are just invisible in the old skin.babel2 wrote: Wed May 29, 2019 1:03 am But I really miss the simplicity of the old interface.

But the new skin is so much clearer and faster and so wundervoll beautiful, dont know why anybody wants to do that.

Yes. I was indistinct. Just meant to lock the notes (scales) on the Keyboard. So you keep your particular scale (song) while browsing through all the 'Arp/Seq' and 'In Scale Transpose' presets. Atm right click on the white points just activates/deactivates them. Would love to have that option.Urs wrote: Tue May 28, 2019 4:06 pmLocking the key control should work, I think...?Joe Leidigkeit wrote: Tue May 28, 2019 3:22 pm Is it somehow possible to lock the Scale Quantizer?
Would be nice.
You can btw. also automate it. It's a single parameter with 4096 (I think) states for 12 bits.
But that's just a "minor" thing.
Oh. And it would be great to lock the entire Arp/Seq Section. Love the module presets, but to lock the whole thing would be very valuable to me.
And +1 to a free/non-trigger mode for the Shape Sequencer.
A little thing: in the sequencer the dropdown for the semitones goes "bottom up" (the normal u-he way)
In OSC section dropdown for semitones and octaves goes "top down" (which i prefer).
Thanks again for this great update!!

I never regret spending money on u-he products. Hive 2 sounds great and is a joy to work with!

ModMatrix: Constant -> Release might work (not sure tbh)cantaloupe wrote: Thu May 30, 2019 10:28 pm is there a trick to get longer release times? seems abrupt for slower ambienty stuff

Not really answering your question, but there is a neat method that can make anything abrupt disappear:cantaloupe wrote: Thu May 30, 2019 10:28 pm is there a trick to get longer release times? seems abrupt for slower ambienty stuff
Assign "Still" in Function generator 1 to Delay feedback, and turn it up quite a bit.
I love this feature, it makes delay feedback rise when nothing's playing, the sound can just linger on for. . . well, forever. But as soon as you play, feedback goes down again, avoiding a pile of sounds fighting for attention. I find this possibility great for soundscapes and slower stuff that can just keep hanging.
If you also assign your modwheel to for instance Delay time base, you can sit and make music with the echo without even playing your keyboard.
And ok, for those into noise:
White / pink in osc 1 and 2; FG1 Still assigned to Delay feedback, turn it up to max; add some rough compression (and of course adjust filters and effects) = Hive 2 just turned into an amazing, neverending noise machine.
