Just don‘t like it, too old-fashioned and limited, sounding lifeless and artificial. No real further development (besides some GUI thing) to be noticed. Typical one man shop release with all its risks immanent (see diskoDSP and others). No transfer possibility. Regret having bought it.

I agree with that sentiment. It really puzzles me that people like it that much. Got it at the charity auction, so at least no money wasted.

Do you know if Diva covers what it offers ? I haven't had enough time to dig into Diva to know what it can truly do, I know does some moog emulation but no idea if it covers all or just select styles as I haven't had enough time yet to get stuck into it

The v3 (64bit, poly etc.)was free for existing users two years ago, i bet discoDSP would have charged 99EUR for it.

Most of the toontrack SDX libraries on sale, but not independent.
That is however on sale over at toontrack and pluginboutique.
Will it be on sale over at JRR as well @Uncle E ?

Just a quick question to all: as we've all seen how things go lately with PA, would you ever pay more than $29 for any PA plugin (as we do already with Waves) new or used? (unsure whether this is the appropriate thread, feel free to move/delete if it feels somehow offensive).

From what I can see, all of the SDX libraries are on sale except for the newest releases: Rock Foundry and Orchestral Percussion.

Usually when they have a new release, this won't go on sale for at least 3-4 months. So if you really need/want it pay the $99 (usual intro price for heavy hitters or upgrade if you have anything relatable from them), and if you have a voucher you can get it for $25-$75 depending on the monthly voucher tier you are in.

Some of their products seem to have a higher value, so some are only listed for $49 (which is good for some products like bx_digital, the consoles, blackbox etc). They won't go to $29 often for these bestsellers.
Otherwise in this current situation I wouldn't pay more than $29 really.

And btw, the absolute cheapest place I've found to buy Toontrack add-ons when they're on sale is Thomann. Right now you can get EZXs for $32 and SDXs are $78.

But if you head over to my FS thread, I have a couple SDXs for sale for even cheaper. ;)
