Incredible level of visual detail, props to BWS designers.

Yes, I think it is the attention to detail that really takes the grid to the next level. It is almost as if we are on the Grid V3 rather than it being a first iteration and it is a pleasure to use. I think a lot of people who may not have tried Bitwig before are going to be blown away when they can Demo the Grid in V3.
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Yeah... it also breeds confidence in the implementation of other features that someone may want more than the Grid.

Is it possible to use The Grid to create note effects (midi effects) ?

Not yet, but I suspect the devs are aware of the masses clamouring for such a thing 😉
Bitwig 6.0.8 + Akai MIDIMix + Launchpad X + MF Twister
ExpressiveE Osmose Keyboard + Universal Audio Apollo Twin X
Mac Mini M1 16GB/4TB + macOS 26.5 Tahoe

One of my most wished for features... I suspect it is a fair bit of work to add that.

But there are workarounds. Polarity taught us that trick...

Is there MSEGs in the Grid? I can't find.. I'm trying to replicate a few Tantra patches.

Nope.

No MSEG

Depending on what you are trying to do, there are various ways to create complex MSEG type modulations...

Give me an example shape... I don't know what you are trying to duplicate.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

To do that shape in the Grid, use a Gates module set to 16 steps, with a Gate/No Gate/Gate/Gate repeating pattern across the 16 steps. Use the Gates module then to trigger an Env to create the basic pattern. Set the attack to 0 and Decay to taste.

Then you would use a couple Steps (also set to 16 steps) modules to modulate the Env for the individual differences. One Steps module goes to a Multiply Module along with the Env output and the height of each step would control the strength of the Env with each retrigger. The second Steps module all steps would be 0 except 13 which would modulate Env attack.

I was able to reproduce that exact shape.
