I went K10->K10U->K11U in the past and am currently debating with myself wether I should go K10->K12 or K11U->K12CE. Kontakt 6 has become a necessity so there is no way around it this time, but the Komplete Ultimate update does not strike me a particularly attractive. Looking at the pricing of some retailers only about $90 more give you the entire NI sandwich.Harry_HH wrote: Sun Jun 02, 2019 11:47 ammladi wrote: Sun Jun 02, 2019 8:36 am I have K11U so the 199 bucks just for MassiveX and Kontakt6 (not so impressed regarding this update). I think i'll pass this time. Unsure..
Same thoughs as mladi. Yes, there’s stuff, but with my existing arsenal, can’t see very much use with the K12U additions vs. K11U.
Too much everything, lets face it![]()
Kontakt 6 may be necessity, because the number of 3rd party applications, which demand K6 vs. K5 will increase before June -20.

Thanks. Bummer as I thought it went through the end of June 1st.escalona wrote: Sun Jun 02, 2019 3:50 amThe offer ended today June 1st. Any ideas?mgw38 wrote: Sat May 25, 2019 2:11 am This one came in the email today: 25% off at www.ToneBoosters.com with coupon TB_SPRING_2019
The call it a loyalty discount but I don't see why this should not work for anybody. New licenses only and ends June 1.

But if you head over to my FS thread, I have a couple SDXs for sale for even cheaper.![]()
When you go to the pages for the EZXs or MIDI packs, you have an option to check Software Box or Download.

Note also that right now, Thomann has UK Pop on sale for that low price and that's excluded from the sale at Toontrack. Might want to purchase before they figure it out.

Yes, certainly. They're both great and are both worth owning but I personally would choose DIVA if I was only going to own one of them. With that said, the main thing you might miss is Repro-1's really cool step sequencer.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Sun Jun 02, 2019 8:06 am Could Diva also replace Repro if you are not really after that perfection/character?
I see Diva as more versatile and useful for me, but both synths are new for me, so can't decide without a second opinion.

Massive X is supposed to be coming this month, let's hope it's a bigger deal than the teasers indicate. I haven't upgraded yet, either.mladi wrote: Sun Jun 02, 2019 8:35 am Ihave K11U so 199 bucks just for MassiveX and Kontakt6 (not so impressed regarding this update). I think i'll pass this time. Oh that’s right, that was a new release this year or late last year. Too bad they didn’t make that mistake on the Custom Shop EZX, that’s the new one I’m genuinely interested in at the moment.jsp1979 wrote: Sun Jun 02, 2019 3:10 pmTappistry wrote: Sun Jun 02, 2019 2:30 amYou're gonna be happy that you're wrong.seangm wrote: Sun Jun 02, 2019 12:43 amThe only problem is the EZX's at Thomann are boxed, so for me to order from the US it's $36 shipping added to the price.Tappistry wrote: Sat Jun 01, 2019 10:19 pm And btw, the absolute cheapest place I've found to buy Toontrack add-ons when they're on sale is Thomann. I don’t play much UK style pop, but I’ll give a listen to the demo tracks and see if I can reproduce some of those sounds with my Superior libraries.

So, do any of our vendors ship the boxed version of the K12 update, presumably for a reasonable extra charge?
My net is via satellite, and bandwidth is limited. No way I can/will download 135GB.
Looks like BestService will do that deal for $89 + Eu25, but I'm surmising that they have a closer relationship with NI, since they're both in Germany.

Week just started here... in Germany. 1:50 AM here. All the vendors listed before they were supposed to, obviously, and no buyer got a license yet, i think. At least i didn't get mine, although i already bought on Saturday.DawnInEden wrote: Sun Jun 02, 2019 11:46 pm There's a Summer of Sounds deal at Native Instruments. Bestservice currently lists a delivery time of 4 working days on most Komplete sale items, including download versions. Delivery times with retailers have always been a bit all over the place during the NI spring sale. I recall that I had to cancel an order with JRR 2 or 3 years ago because they were not able to deliver the Komplete upgrade in a reasonable time.chk071 wrote: Sun Jun 02, 2019 11:52 pmWeek just started here... in Germany. 1:50 AM here. Thanks. I never received the serials non-instant. Also when i bought directly at NI. That's why i was so surprised, also as it didn't mention any delay in delivery on Best Service's site. Anyway.
I also don't buy their excuse that they ran out of serials, really. I bet they didn't have any, but, wanted to be the first to list the sale, and by having a lower price than others. It totally makes sense, when they can deliver some days later, when NI launches the actual sale.

I did observe it a bit, mainly out of self interest. I'm in the market myself. Their estimated delivery times originally were about a week, then suddenly jumped to "immediately" and then went back to about a week. Could have been a glitch in the system or maybe they did have a few that they released and then either ran out or got called back from the mothership. We can only speculate. The one thing I can say that Bestservice is one of the more reliable sellers.chk071 wrote: Mon Jun 03, 2019 12:12 am Thanks. I never received the serials non-instant.
