Tracktion 7 Kontakt Automation

Hi, I have been searching Google, Youtube, etc. and cannot seem to find an appropriate answer to this - I'm using Kontakt Player 6 and attempting to control Kontakt with an automation lane. When I run Kontakt as a standalone VST, the automation works. But when using it as a Wrapper it does not continuously read. Whatever percentage it is set at at the beginning is where it stays. But, if I manually click within the track to a different position during playback, the automation percentage changes, and I see the change in the Kontakt instrument. Automation read mode is turned on.

I don't have this issue in Reaper, but I prefer Tracktion's UI. Is this a limitation in Tracktion, or am I missing something? It likely is the case as I'm not anywhere near expert - maybe low end of novice. I'm on MacOS, using Tracktion 7, Kontakt Player, and Hyperion Strings Micro.
