Hi. I do understand that. A vote may be a good thing for such. But it´s nice for everyone to decide for themselves. I do think too I am for sure not in the need of the 1.000ths super-saw or another basic like a saw-pad :D I can imagine that a flood of patches will come. The Load/Save Exchange patch is a superb idea and it´s a fine thing they get stuffed in the seperate exchange-folder in MSF, so one can try, select, delete and move from there. Perfect! Thank you. Anyway. Thank you for that deeeeeeeeeeeeeep instrument. I freaking love the audio-range LFOs and all the modulation-madness options.

I am in heaven. Made some really freaking patches today but didn´t save them. I really seldom save patches. A habit. But I saved 2 not too freaky and tamed down ones. Here they are:

"MAT - Singularity Machine"

and a much milder Version:

"MAT - Circular Engine"

Have fun with them and feel free to fiddle around with them.

Obviously a collection like the Exchange creates needs culling for personal use, but be warned: As you see, the download engine keeps track of all you've so far gotten and only offers you the new stuff = no way to re-download anything deleted!

I never looked at it, but it seems that at one point the download information was stored locally in a simple to read text format, as in the case of MVintageRotarypresets.xml :

So on so forth.

That would potentially allow for local resetting.

Not sure if it's still in use. Date is strange and I just did a download with that plugin.

There's no such information for MSoundFactory.

Here's a little quick-made device w/no presets yet, but ready for them, borne out of a quick check-out of the Cab module (LOVE it), and of whether an MP can capture Easy Screen presets from Rhythmatizer and Wobbler Ex (yes!).

I dunno if it's Exchange worthy as is. But I'm certain it's already fun, and with plenty of possible variations worth saving as DPresets, so it's also a pretty good test of the usefulness of making and sharing Devices as simple as this, not for the Factory Device Collection, perhaps, but just amongst full-version owner/users…some of whom might like to create some Presets for it and share those as Exports, then zipped attachments, here. Or anywhere MSF'ers gather.

It's the sort of potential sharing community that appeals to me; anybody else?

Just uploaded a new Exchange Device, no presets but ready for them, and also did a quick video on how I made it, which covers two quite powerful tips, including one I just learned from jmg8, aka Jason Gibbins, Easy Screen Builder Extraordinaire, maker of most, maybe even ALL, of the existing MSF Factory Devices, and tons of other Melda stuff, that make it easy to come up with, and to actually quickly build simple devices with a lot of power using minimal controls.

Here's a device and a DPreset file to go with it, based on a simple tweak to a really great MSF Exchange device from Tyler Dedera, called The Javelina, well worth checking out (there's now quite a few great uploads, including another I really liked from Tyler, called Sleep Key Parlor…)

All I did was drag LFO 1 to each of the mod targets for the Mixer volumes in Javelina, then using the Transform option made the LFO shape for each target completely different, while all would run at the same rate…

How is the device and its presets loaded ? I see 'Save Device' in the MSF windows title bar, so I choose 'Presets' to the left of it, and then 'Import', but the file dialog does not show the file 'The Javelina Modded.mInstrument' nor its presets once navigated to the folder containing them.

Mac: HOME/Library/Application support/MeldaProduction

You can install the instrument on the user's machine by simply placing the file to the same location.

Four new uploads to the Exchange from me, all sort of, to definitely, extreme modulated lead tones: The Growlers 2-4, and WhatSaw? PV 1. Grower 4 is the most extreme, going pretty nuts when more than one note is held, thanks to the odd PV modulator called Polyphony 4.
