I think they call it "neudeutsch" or "denglish". "Germlish" sounds more like a disease.

If you can't use drummic'a, I read that you can also use embertone arcane (also free) to crossgrade. Maybe someone can confirm?

Isn't that then just correct connotation?mgw38 wrote: Thu Jun 06, 2019 4:19 pm I think they call it "neudeutsch" or "denglish". "Germlish" sounds more like a disease.![]()
And my word is better, because its includes both GERMany and engLISH
-words.
What does that DEN- refer to anyway? Deutsch? It includes just one letter of that.
Bad innovation from the person who has invented that word.

Drummic'a doesn't work anymore. At least for me. The option vanished in NI Shop, when Kontakt 6 got released.

Must have had that in the back of my mind - sorry !mgw38 wrote: Thu Jun 06, 2019 3:59 pm A while ago, somebody claimed that NI had removed Drum Mic'a from the list of products that would allow you to cross grade to the full version Kontakt. But that was in fact incorrect. NI still lists it as eligible for the cross grade.
(...and I could have even read the original German info about it ...

1. Get a free license of Embertone Arcanesfd wrote: Thu Jun 06, 2019 2:31 pmI logged in to my NI account to see if I'm eligible. It says Kontakt 6 would cost me 399 EUR. Is that supposed to be half price ?Fleer wrote: Thu Jun 06, 2019 2:06 pmKontakt 6 is at half price (until the end of June) if you upgrade or crossgrade:sfd wrote: Thu Jun 06, 2019 1:54 pm Hi guys !
Noticed NI launched their summer sales.
I'm visually impaired and their site is a bit confusing for me.
What I'd like to ask you guys is - how / where can I get hold on Kontakt - for lowest possible price ?![]()
€/$49 to upgrade from an earlier version of Kontakt;
€/$125 to crossgrade from a selection of (Kontakt Player) libraries, depending on what you have.
Won’t be found much lower elsewhere than at NI’s own site.
If you can’t upgrade or crossgrade (yet) you’d better have a look at their bundles and buy or upgrade wisely. It’s a maze, but there’s some logic to the madness.![]()
(https://www.embertone.com/instruments/arcane.php);
2. Head over to the NI website to register that serial to your account;
3. Crossgrade to Kontakt 6 for $125.
Enjoy!

While I'd like to consider getting the upgrade from Pro Tools to Pro Tools | Ultimate for a few of the features like Clip FX Editing, multi-channel, and field recorder workflows, the Updates + Support renewal is $399.00/year afterwards which isn't really cheap (vs $99 for vanilla Pro Tools). For someone that's already planing and saving up for Pro Tools | Ultimate, than it's a great time to upgrade.mgw38 wrote: Thu Jun 06, 2019 7:26 pm This is probably a bit of a fringe bargain information, but if you are a Pro Tools user, Avid currently offers 47% off the trade up from Pro Tools to Pro Tools Ultimate. Still a whopping $999 but arguably much more attractive than the regular $1899.

That is very true. But as a Bitwig user would say: "You don't have to renew!"SolarAxix wrote: Thu Jun 06, 2019 8:16 pmWhile I'd like to consider getting the upgrade from Pro Tools to Pro Tools | Ultimate for a few of the features like Clip FX Editing, multi-channel, and field recorder workflows, the Updates + Support renewal is $399.00/year afterwards which isn't really cheap (vs $99 for vanilla Pro Tools). The challenge with that is the reinstatement plan if you miss a year is $999.mgw38 wrote: Thu Jun 06, 2019 8:22 pmThat is very true. I think Push was on sale as a bundle with Suite and also when Push 1 was being discontinued. I don’t remember a time when Push 2 was on sale by itself. Also, Ableton only has sales a few times per year so it will probably be at least a few months before the next sale.hhuang9611 wrote: Fri Jun 07, 2019 1:02 am @Uncle E
