I recently started diving into Repro 1 and 5, and I was working on a sound that required me to map the mod wheel to a couple of parameters. I noticed that these mappings became global. What did I do wrong?

You did nothing wrong, MIDI learn in u-he synths is global.

I would not recommend MIDI-learning the mod wheel. Use it as a regular modulation source if at all possible!

So, I guess that the only option in Repro 5 is to use the Matrix? I was hoping for a little more flexibility, but I will make it work.

Not what I meant. There's LOTS you can do with MIDI-learned controls... just don't use the mod wheel or the defined Control A and Control B for that stuff (reserve those performance controls for use in the matrix). So I guess my question is: Why "required me to map the mod wheel"? Can't it be e.g. CC#03 or something else?
