Loving this after a quick demo. As a former BYOME owner, I didn't realize how much multi-band would add. Feels like a new plugin.

Uncle E, do you think your Komplete 12 serials will be sent out today or has the forecast changed?

I'm very sorry to say that they did not arrive today. I actually don't understand why they did not arrive and have sent NI a request for more information.

I've had a notification of a delay on the arrival of the hard disk version to Time + Space. They are not due to arrive until Monday now.

It looks as if NI have been a little slow getting stuff out to their vendors.

It's not entirely true with Triad. Triad has some features not available on Byome.
Obviously band splitting. But also it can manage the bands dynamically focussing on regions where more energy is present in the signal. Also cutoffs are modulatable with the automation system.

Just read the manual, theres a lot work done making the 3 regions more fun to use. Also it has several modes for splitting, eg. M/S, parallel, L/R, 2-band, 3band etc.

Reminds me about the just finished Steinberg sale, where suddenly, after making serials for maybe 3 decades, they was not "able" to supply their own resellers with serials

Guess this is just the new style, arse style, jumpstart their own sales, while the resellers that help their profit in the daily sales-work, are getting starved when the good times arrive,..

Because we end-users sacrify our money and free time for these stupid music software products, we are justified give crtique, time to time.
Here's is something for today:

1. Case 1: Ableton live upgrade pricing. E.g. from Live 9 to Live 10 suite $367.00 (!!!) in the sale (!), see

I just purchased my first ever Cubase, Cubase 10 Pro for $ 166 (!!!).
It seems, that Ableton hankers their customers moving to Steinberg.

Case 2: Unfiltered audio sent yesterday to their clients marketing mail, where they say:
"YOU OWN BYOME! GET TRIAD FOR ONLY $49!
Great news! As you already own BYOME, you will get this brand-new multi-band processor from Unfiltered Audio for only $49. Just grab it on the web site. Make sure you are logged in to save $250!".

However, what they did NOT mention, is that EVERYONE, even with zero earlier purchase from UA/PA, can get the Triad for the same $ 49 price.

The Triad situation is a bit daft, but it seems the $49 upgrade price is permanent while the $49 price for everyone is a temporary sale, so it's not entirely meaningless for BYOME owners - it gives them the option to wait without spending more and to use a future voucher on it.

What's definitely messed up though is that BYOME itself is on a 2-day sale for $99 despite Triad, from what I've read, essentially being a upgrade of it with little/no downside.

Yeah. $49 for Triad (for everyone, once logged in to PA site). Or $99 for BYOME (for everyone).
