Oh yes, I agree 100%. That inhouse grump is good at what he does. My memory’s volatile so I need to have the synrh infront of me while going thru the infos, and even so i have only hope to recall what i worked on previously. With the Ctrl A/B settings on the preferences pane you are simply setting a default set of controllers. Not sure where to post this bug report, but using Live 10.1, and I'm getting intermittent crackles and noise, almost sounds like a demo version, and yes I am fully registered with 2.0. I think related to when sequencer is playing but not sure.

I don't think this was intentional but there is an animation problem with Hive 2.0's mod wheel. The good news is that this issue can be resolved by those using Hive 2.0. You can do this by going to the Animation folder, which is located in the .hivedata folder. Navigate your way down to the 'Wheels' folder and delete the images from 71 to 100.
You'll now find that the animation of the wheel correctly matches that of your controller with these deleted. For reference, the number of frames will now match that of Hive 1.0 & Hive 1.02.

After using Hive 2 daily the last few weeks, there are 2 things I'd like to say:
1/ It really sets a new standard, I think.
At least it does for me. The shape sequencer and the FGs - they make every other synth I use seem a bit bleak. A bit static. Even Bazille, my dearest, suddenly feels a little weak (and limited, I'm afraid). Hive 2 is for me, no doubt, the best synth I've ever tried.
2/ I really love the feeling that all old Hive presets now seem like templates I can breathe life into!
Usually I can't compete with U-he presets. But now I can take any old patch, shape sequence it, FG it, and I can actually make it sound better, more complex, cooler. What a confidence booster!
