When I'm recording a new L/R audio track - with only 1 pair of ASIO inputs hooked up to that track and no other devices connected to other tracks, many times, it will look like I'm recording on the intended track, and also on an existing track somewhere else on the edit screen. It shows that scrolling faded red 'recording' stuff on the intended track and on some other random track.
What is this? Am I stacking empty clips on top of each other in that other track? I'm thinking it might be a reason for my clicking glitches that I'm getting if I've got 10 layers of empty recordings on a track when it only looks like one is there.
How can I stop this from happening? While I've never replaced material on the other track, it still is disconcerting to see that red 'recording' status window on a track I've worked hard to finesse. Again, no input devices are connected to that track when it happens.

Yeah, that's a bug I've seen once but never managed to get it to happen again! It's nothing to worry about - just the UI not drawing properly, but if I ever track it down I'll fix it..

Yeah this happens to me sometimes too. I was really freaked out at first (is another track is getting erased!?!) but now I just ignore it...
