If you have, in parallel, a bp filter follow by a math invert phase, mix the 2 signals, the result is a notch ! Set the BP resonance to 0.

Ooh ok, thanks. I thought filters would introduce phase shifting over frequency range, so the subtraction wouldn't work. Let's try that.

Mdrummer in MSF what exactly can it do please as I can't figure it out sorry

No presets etc just opens a blank sample page

Installed the base drummer samples

Load MXXX and look inside that for the full version of MDrummer. Right-click on both the MXXX and MD modules to enable MIDI input.

At present, its modules are simple-ish sample playback tools, except for the 4NN drum synth. Two of them (Sampler and Scratcher), though, allow user samples to be loaded.

An example of that use is described in my post on Mon Jun 17, 2019 2:20 pm here:

There's a few YT videos in which Chandler uses them as impulse triggers for physical modeling synthesis, running them into Modal filters.
