If you have, in parallel, a bp filter follow by a math invert phase, mix the 2 signals, the result is a notch ! Set the BP resonance to 0.

Ooh ok, thanks. I thought filters would introduce phase shifting over frequency range, so the subtraction wouldn't work. Let's try that.

Load MXXX and look inside that for the full version of MDrummer. Right-click on both the MXXX and MD modules to enable MIDI input.

There's a few YT videos in which Chandler uses them as impulse triggers for physical modeling synthesis, running them into Modal filters.
