Bug - MSpectralDynamics - No processing still causing processing?

Was just trying to create an enhancer to boost high frequencies and found a potential bug. If you disable both processors there is still gain reduction carried out when signals cross the threshold. I wonder if this is a symptom of some bugs within the processing.

Here is a preset, paste this into MSpectralDynamics. Note both processors are disabled and there is no custom processing shape applied. Play some audio through this, and note the gain reduction carried out, compare this with the bypass.

There's the 0dB limit clipping. In MDynamics there's the switch to avoid that, since it occured quite often there, but in MSpectralDynamics levels rarely get even close to 0dB, so it seemed pointless. You caused it by making the slope +6dB, hence increasing levels of high frequency heavily. I'd still avoid adding the option if it's not a big deal, unnecessary development and GUI clutter...

Ah, because the level processing doesn't go above 0db. I see, that explains it. I guess I can easily use the temp gain to subtract and add a balanced amount of gain to ensure this doesn't happen. Thanks for the explanation.

Exactly!
