Hey all,

some folks were running into issues with session recall using AV 1.2.0 – mainly VST 3 in Reaper. We've just released 1.2.1 which fixes the issue – and correctly recalls the saved sessions, so simply installing it is a full fix. Apologies!

Issues? No, there are no known issues open after this update.

That said, to be able to do the things it does, ADAPTIVERB needs between 4096 and 12k samples of latency, depending on which modules are used – which is similar to what a (much lower tech) spectral denoiser at reasonable quality setting will introduce. There's a "LIVE" mode which sets playthrough and reported latency to zero, though. For more information please have a look at the manual.

Huge latency issue here. The live mode only cuts latency of the track the instance is on. It does absolutely nothing to other tracks. I'm talking about other midi tracks that dont have instances on or anything. You basically cant play anything in time if you have 1 Adaptiverb on any other track.

It's the same as Ozone 8 on the master, where you cant play in real time. the difference is in Ozone you dont need to play any tracks.
Can this be fixed? If not this is completely useless to me.

That indicates that your DAW doesn't update its latency correction scheme when a plugin sends an update. There are one or two hosts that "work" that way. The normal behavior is that in LIVE mode, NO latency is introduced ANYWHERE - in "exchange" the reverb tail will be late. If that's not the case, then the DAW isn't updating something it should be updating. In those cases, save the session & reload - that SHOULD force an update of the latency compensation engine. If not please contact our support so we can get some more detailed information on your configuration.

So, just to be clear, the latency should be compensated by the host PDC? I’m using the latest version of Ableton Live 9.
